Welcome to the Poser Bank, where busting people who pose as celebrities is our specialty. Are you as tired as we are of seeing someone online tell you that they're a celebrity? Are you ready to do something about it? Well, we've had enough. So we put this page together to help sort out the real ones from the fakes. Although posers are sometimes nothing more than kids looking for a cheap thrill, we have encountered more than a few posers who've taken their "role-play" to a more serious level.

Our website was created from a desire to protect the people who frequent public areas (such as chat rooms) who are often children and want to believe they are talking to someone they admire, therefore becoming easy targets. In the process we hope to help protect the public image of the celebrities in question.

We try to monitor rooms where the most poser activity is reported to be, but it's not enough for us to be out there scoping the public areas for these losers. We need your help. If you should encounter one of these individuals please e-mail us their screen names and we will verify their identity and "deposit" them into our bank if necessary. Below is the link to our "Pocket Full of Posers" page. This is where you will find a list of posers who have been "busted" by the Poser Bank.
